A CSA Box

A Full Share fills your market bag with 7-10 vegetables harvested weekly for a total of 20 weeks. This option is best for families of four; or split between single friends, couples or neighbors; or great for those who cook at least three times a week! $595

A Half Share fills your market bag with 7-10 vegetables harvested every other week for a total of 10 weeks. This option is best for singles, or families without children, or those who only cook a few times a week. $325

Pick ups are Fridays at the Farm in Barrington, Saturdays at Norton's USA or Sundays at the Logan Sq Farmer's Market for our "city dwellers".

The Gentleman Farmer's CSA Members can expect:

-Approximately 7-10 fresh, seasonal vegetables each pick-up.

-A weekly CSA newsletter including notes from the farmer, seasonal recipes, nutritional information, photos and videos updating you on the crops and your weekly harvest.

-The Gentleman Farmer jute market bag to collect your weekly harvest.

-An opportunity to see the farm and talk to your farmer each week at pick-ups.

The Gentleman Farmer accepts payments by check please.

Is our CSA for you? We at The Gentleman Farmer do our best to curate a beautiful variety of produce for you throughout the arc of an entire growing season.  If you do not cook seasonally you may find a need to supplement your CSA share from the grocers at times. Joining a CSA encourages further exploration of seasonal recipes, a connection with your farmer and your food and an oppotunity to be part of a community that supports independant, small scale farming. You may receive a lot of one particular crop if it does really well or none of another if it fails completely. However, it can be a fun adventure for the entire family as well as for your tastebuds!

Please see samples of harvests from last year's CSA season to get a good grasp of what to expect:
